Bill joined Associated Claim Service in February 2001. Bill has 17 years of field adjusting experience and specializes in the handling of large commercial and residential property losses and investigations. Bill has experience serving as both appraiser and umpire involving the appraisal clause. He also has experience managing and handling high claim volumes while deployed in and out of state on CATastrophe duty.
Bill began his adjusting career in 2001 and was trained as a multi-line adjuster with a focus in property claims. Bill served as the Branch Manager of the Green Bay office from 2007-2010. Bill transferred to the corporate office in Appleton in 2011 becoming the General Manager. Bill became the President of Associated Claim Service in January 2015.
Bill is a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-2000 attaining the rank of Sergeant. His military occupation specialty was a logistics and embarkation specialist. Bill has completed both Basic and Intermediate Property Training courses at the Fox Valley Technical College. Prior to the military, Bill has experience working in the masonry and carpentry construction trades.
Bill got certified as a Haag Engineering Certified Roof Inspector -Commercial and Residential #20119999. Bill has also attained the Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician certification (FRST) through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC). He has extensive experience estimating with Xactimate. Bill is currently a board member of the Wisconsin Fire Loss Association. Bill is also a member of the Fox Valley Adjusters Association and National Association of Independent Adjusters.
Jim Pohlman joined Associated Claim Services in May of 2007. He has over 19 years of claims experience as a multi-line claims adjuster and litigation examiner. He specializes in complex liability injury claims and property damage liability claims.
Jim worked for California State Auto Association in Nevada for three years specializing as a multi-line claims. Then he relocated to Wisconsin to work for General Casualty Insurance Company for over five years as a multi-line field adjuster. As a field claims adjuster, he investigated, negotiated and settled both liability and property damage claims. Jim then took a position with Ameriprise Auto and Home Insurance with a case load of involved multi-state personal auto and homeowner liability claims. During his three years at Ameriprise, he also worked in the litigation department handling multi-state litigation claims, both first and third party.
Jim handles all types of liability cases specializing in the investigation of complex liability claims. This includes full investigations with settlement authority and partial assignments focusing on investigation only. He has handled numerous cases involving governmental agencies including municipalities, counties, colleges and school districts throughout the state of Wisconsin. He has attended and participated in mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences.
Jim is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He has also attended many insurance classes and seminars throughout his career. He is a current member of the Fox Valley Adjuster Association and the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters.
Jacob Mangen joined Associated Claim Service in August of 2015. Jake was hired as a property adjuster and reports to the main office in Appleton, Wisconsin. Jake has over 14 years’ experience working on the restoration side of the property insurance industry. Jake’s prior roles included estimator, project manager and general manager before deciding to make a career change. We are excited to have Jake as a part of our firm as he brings unique talent, perspective and knowledge to our well rounded team of adjusters.
Jake Mangen has extensive experience writing estimates in Xactimate 28 for both residential and commercial property losses caused by all perils. Jake holds multiple certifications attained through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) to include the Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FRST), Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Odor Control Technician (OCT), and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT).
Jake is also a member of the Fox Valley Adjusters Association.
Brad Adkins joined Associated Claim Service in the spring of 2019 as a multi-line adjuster with a specialty in property loss adjusting and auto appraisal. Mr. Adkins reports to the Appleton office. Prior to ACS Brad worked for Rural Mutual for 7 years as a multi-line field adjuster managing a several county territories handling all types of residential, commercial, farm and municipal property, liability and auto losses.
Mr. Adkins graduated from the University of Oshkosh in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in science with history major. Brad also graduated from MATC in Madison in 2003 with a degree in Automotive Technology. He worked in a service department as a service writer for a major dealership for 9 years from 2003 to 2012. Brad is also a Haag Certified Residential Roof Inspector.
Rick Dorschner joined Associated Claim Service in 2014. Rick has been in the Automotive Business for over 40 years and specializes in the appraisals of personal and commercial auto, heavy trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and classic cars. Rick has been Independent Appraiser for 18 years.
Rick is proficient utilizing Mitchell and Audatex estimating software programs. Previously, Rick has owned and managed a local Auto Collision Shop and attended many Factory and Technical College seminars and classes. On weekends Rick enjoys helping friends restore and build 1940's to 1950 Jeeps and Ultralights.
Dan Stojak, CPCU is a stockholder of Associated Claim Service serving as President since 2002 and working from the corporate office located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Dan began his adjusting career with GAB Business Services and served as their branch manager until joining Associated Claim Service in April of 1985. Dan has over 38 years of experience as a multi-line adjuster.
Dan specializes in large property losses and investigations and has handled numerous claims with settlement values in excess of $1,000,000.00. Dan has also served as both appraiser and umpire when the appraisal clause is invoked. Dan is a graduate of St. Norbert College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dan has also attained the CPCU, AIC and AIS designations. Dan is currently a member of the Fox Valley Adjuster Association and National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters.
Mark Neerdaels joined Associated Claim Service in November 1999. Mark is a multi-line claims adjuster with 16 years of experience handling all types of property and liability claims. Mark also supervises this company's Physical Damage Appraisal department. Mark has extensive experience appraising autos, semi tractors and trailers, fire trucks, logging vehicles, farm machinery, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, ATVs and heavy equipment types of losses.
Mark is a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, WI and is ASE certified and I-CAR trained in 21 related specialty areas.
Mark's previous experience includes working as an Auto Collision Instructor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. He was also a local Body Shop Manager for many years prior to owning his own Custom Body Shop business.
Past leadership positions include the former District Chairperson for I-CAR and Vice President for the Bay Auto Body Association. Mark has completed the Basic and Intermediate property courses at Fox Valley Technical College and has attended numerous Property and Casualty seminars throughout his career. Mark is proficient with Xactimate, Audatex and Mitchell estimating software programs.
Mark is currently a member of the Fox Valley Adjuster Association, Wisconsin Fire Loss Association, National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, and he serves on the Advisory Board for the Auto Collision program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. In his free time Mark enjoys building Custom Cars and Hot Rods. He is also a member of the ISCA - International Show Car Association.
Dan Kelley joined Associated Claim Service in April of 2008. He has worked in the claims industry since 1999 with 16 years of experience handling property claims. Dan currently handles homeowners, commercial property, and property damage liability claims.
Dan started his insurance career with Allstate Insurance Company and later worked for Ameriprise Insurance Company. Dan has experience both as an outside field representative as well as inside claim handling. With both companies, Dan received extensive training in the proper techniques to investigate and handle claims.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He has attended many insurance classes and seminars throughout his career. He is a current member of the Fox Valley Adjuster Association, Wisconsin Fire Loss Association, and the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters.
Bob Fier joined Associated Claim Service in March 2013. Bob is based in West Bend, Wisconsin as a resident adjuster and covers the Southeast corner of the State, including the greater Milwaukee area. He has 25 years of multi-line adjusting experience with a current focus on property claims and vehicle appraisals. Bob is also available to investigate and adjust all lines of property, liability, cargo, auto and heavy truck claims.
Prior to working with Associated, Bob spent 19 years with Allmark Services, a regional independent adjusting firm, and served as the branch manager. Bob's adjusting career began in 1990 with Crawford & Company in Brookfield where he was employed as a claims representative.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a BBA Degree in Finance. Bob has attained the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation. He has extensive experience with Xactimate, Audatex and Mitchell Heavy Equipment estimating programs. Bob is a member of the Fox Valley Adjusters Association, Wisconsin Fire Loss Association, and the National Association of Independent Adjusters.
Jacob Kazda joined the Associated Claim Service team in the fall of 2019. Mr. Kazda is a resident adjuster based out his home near Stevens Point. Jacob specializes in property loss adjusting and has 13 years' experience handling all types of residential, commercial and farm losses. Mr. Kazda experience handling large losses. He was formally employed with State Farm where he was trained and served as a property field adjuster responsible for a territory. Jacob has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration/Management from Judson College, Elgin, Illinois 2001.
